The Institute of Digital Media and Child Development works to foster a national dialogue between researchers, clinicians, educators, parents, media, industry and policymakers regarding the impact of digital media on children and adolescents. The Institute supports funding for for objective, scientific, multidisciplinary research as well as collaboration and advocacy to improve children’s interaction with this new medium.
Our underlying motivation is our strong interest in seeing children and adolescents reach their full potential as thriving individuals and as contributing members of society, with good character and judgement.
